SWAP 2K13 is a national level technical symposium conducted by the Department of computer science, PG and Research. This is one of the reputed colleges in trichy. The two-day symposium was organised by the Department of CSE and CSI Students Branch of Jamal Mohamed college. This grand event saw the participation of over 225 students from a plethora of colleges and streams - About 35 arts, science & engineering colleges and universities. SWAP 2K13 had a variety of events that kept the partcipants engeged, says the event coordinator. The chief guest at the valediction function was Mr. Gokul Visweswaran, Director of Effect Works, Chennai. A. M. Mohamed Sindhasha, principal of Jamal Mohamed College presided over the event.
This symposium saw many students exposing their talents. As a token of appreciation they were given lots of prizes. The overall championship was bagged by New College, Chennai. The participants appeared happy in coming to Trichy. They vowed to come back again to attend these kind of events which served as a gateway to expose their talents.
