Suvai 2011, a mega food fest in Trichy for all those who love to eat your fill.Suvai 2011 was organized by Trichy Travel Federation.
Date: 1-4th September 2011
Venue: Vestry School Grounds
Timing: 5 pm to 11pm
The Food Fest in Trichy , SUVAI'11 was a 4 day food festival organised by the Trichy Travel Federation in the Vestry Grounds.The entry fee was Rs.20 for adults and Rs 10 for children.Most items were specialities in Non-Vegetarian Cuisine.
The Major Cuisines were South Indian,North Indian,Chinese Cuisine,Thai Cuisine and Mediterranean Cuisine.And around 35 stalls were filled in with Yummy Food for all to eat.The Price of the food items were really nominal and the looks were gorgeous.Many Big Names of the Food World in Trichy came there including Sangam,SRM,Kongu,Park,.
The main sponsers were Vasan Care,Hello FM, Thinamalar,SRM Hotels,Shivani Engineering College,AmmanTry,Jayaram.
There was more than sufficient activities even other than the eating.Many special games for kids were organized,so the kid were happy to eat and remain healthy by playing those games.And the other spectacular event was the Bheema Contest( eating competition).On september 2nd, 15 contestants were made to face each other in Battle to become the Bheema - the one who eats most,...fast.....
And on the 3rd and 4th of September, we had a cooking competition for women.If you can mix the spices well, you can carry the price away.
Also other events like , the musical performance of a music band was there to entertain the ears of the visitors having a feast for their stomachs.More stalls for Clothes,Accessories were there and more games for the old and the young alike.
In short,It was a fest for all senses at Suvai'2011. If you have missed it this time. Don't miss it the next time.
