THEME : "Recycling to Build Green " .

RULES:

Maximum of two participants per team.
A@ Size Posters Handmade,Collage work and System generated is accepted.
Pictorial representation under the specified category is encouraged.

THE GURU:

Mechanics of Solid,Fluid Mechanics,Geotechnology,Concrete Technology,Hghway and Railway Engineering and Environment Engineering.
Choose any one subject and we will give you a topic from the chosen subject,you have to teach them successfully to the class.Materials for Preparatio are to brought by the participants.

QUIZ:

Prizes Worth: 8000 INR

The Preliminary will be conducted on day 1 of HINGES'11
The Grand Finale on day 2 of Hinges'11

Description:

1. Teams selected from the round 1 will be competing in the finals which will be a formal quiz show.
2. This stage will consist of series of levels 
3. At the end of each level , the team will lowest total will be eliminated
4. The last stage will be one-on-one knock out round

CAPO MASTRO:

1. Maximun of three Participants per team.
2. Problem statement will be given on the spot
3. Materials required to build a prototype model will be provided.
4. Materials required to build a prototype model will provided.
5. Registration Fee of Rs 150.00 is to be paid per team on day zero of Hinges'11
6. This Judging criteria will be announced while providing the problem statement

DRIFTCON -FLOATING CONCRETE:

Each team has to test their rectangular floating concrete box of dimensions 30 * 10 cm having minimum concrete thickness 5mm.The height is left to the teams to decide.

The entry must be stable and float on water.

Rules and Regulations:

1. Three per team
2. All members of a team must be from the same institution 
3. The dimensions given must be strictly adhered to
4. Entry which floats and takes most weight wins.

CAD Code

For the design-oriented, we presented CADCode, a straight forward CAD application event where you will be asked to prepare drawings for a building according to a problem statement.

Event Description:

1. Teams selected from the round prelims will be competing in the finals where they will be given a problem statement and sample views.
2. The best drawings will be awarded the top places.

Rules and Regulations:

1. Two per team.
2. The most accurate representation of the problem will be awarded most points.
