Choose any one subject and we will give you a topic from the chosen subject,you have to teach them successfully to the class.Materials for Preparatio are to brought by the participants.
QUIZ:

The Preliminary will be conducted on day 1 of HINGES'11
The Grand Finale on day 2 of Hinges'11
Description:
- Teams selected from the round 1 will be competing in the finals which will be a formal quiz show.
- This stage will consist of series of levels
- At the end of each level , the team will lowest total will be eliminated
- The last stage will be one-on-one knock out round
CAPO MASTRO:
- Maximun of three Participants per team.
- Problem statement will be given on the spot
- Materials required to build a prototype model will be provided.
- Materials required to build a prototype model will provided.
- Registration Fee of Rs 150.00 is to be paid per team on day zero of Hinges'11
- This Judging criteria will be announced while providing the problem statement
DRIFTCON -FLOATING CONCRETE:
Each team has to test their rectangular floating concrete box of dimensions 30 * 10 cm having minimum concrete thickness 5mm.The height is left to the teams to decide.
The entry must be stable and float on water.
Rules and Regulations:
- Three per team
- All members of a team must be from the same institution
- The dimensions given must be strictly adhered to
- Entry which floats and takes most weight wins.
CAD Code
For the design-oriented, we presented CADCode, a straight forward CAD application event where you will be asked to prepare drawings for a building according to a problem statement.
Event Description:
- Teams selected from the round prelims will be competing in the finals where they will be given a problem statement and sample views.
- The best drawings will be awarded the top places.
Rules and Regulations:
- Two per team.
- The most accurate representation of the problem will be awarded most points.
