Need a vacation? In search of a place to travel and relax? Then this post is for you.This time we will be taking a look at Yercaud,a beautiful hill station near Salem.Yercaud is 160 kms from Trichy and should only take you around 5 hours maximum if you are travelling by a car or bike.
Yercaud is unfortunately not as well-known as Kodaikanal or Ooty,but that could be a blessing in disguise for us who prefer quiet,still and peaceful time.Yercaud is not a big place at all. About 20 kms across could take you through the entire place.

Climate during summer:
   Highest:24  c
   Lowest:19 c
As you can see,its like not too hot not too cold, very ideal and peaceful.

Best season: March and April , but there is nothing bad about May,June,July also.Superb conditions.

GRT Natural Trails: If you can pay Rs 4,500 to Rs 6,000 per day-night,this is absolutely the best place in yercaud to stay.

Sheveroy's:Awesome location,neat rooms and nice atmosphere. Price ranges from Rs.1500 to Rs 3,000

Club Mahindra : Nice place with good restaurants and preserving traditions. Price varies.
