Procedure for Applying Revaluation in Anna University Trichy:
A candidate of the ANNA UNIVERSITY,TRICHY who has been declared "Reappearance" in a particular subject may reappear for that subject during the subsequent semesters and shall secure a Pass. However, there is a provision for revaluation in the Reappearance or passed subjects provided he/she fulfills the following norms for revaluation:
(a) Applications for revaluation should be reach Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli on or before last date, through the head of the Institution.
(b) The request for revaluation must be made in the prescribed format (FRV / FPRV) and forwarded by the Head of the Department along with the revaluation fee prescribed by the University.
(c) All the candidates are eligible to apply for revaluation. Any one of the options can be exercised:
Option 1: Applying for revaluation only on payment of Rs.400/- (Rupees Four
Hundred Only)
Option 2: Applying for photocopy of the answer script and revaluation on
payment of Rs.700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Only)

Last date for receiving revaluation application
form by the college : 06.03.2011
Last date for receiving revaluation application
form along with DD by the University : 07.03.2011 5 p.m.

The ‘Anna University Tiruchirappalli Research Foundation’ (AUTRF) has been incorporated as a not-for-profit foundation.It has been established by Anna University, Tiruchirappalli, in January 2008. AUTRF aims to provide an Organization and a platform for the Management support and Physical support for Fundamental, Applied and Computational Research, discovery of new ideas and advancement of Innovative and wide ranging cutting-edge technologies for the enhancement of the Technical advancement of the country.

Futhur Functions Of ANNA UNIVERSITY TRICHY Research Foundation:
The Research Foundation is aiming to support TAU Faculty, Staff and Researchers in identifying and obtaining external support (pre-award) from sponsors and is responsible for the administration of all such funded programs (post-award). It supports all of the University initiatives for recruiting and retaining the best-qualified researchers and significantly increasing the level of sponsored funding received at this campus. By building a foundation for world class research through effective administration, responsible stewardship of funds, and sound management practices, the Research Foundation will continue to be an important partner in all future research endeavors of TAU.
Operation of ANNA UNIVERSITY TRICHY Research Foundation:
Governed by a Governing Council, the foundation is headed by a Director and is supported ably by a team of Coordinators. The Vice-Chancellor of the University serves as chair of the board ex officio. The Governing Council approves the operating budget for the Research Foundation's administrative expenses. Personnel working on Research Foundation projects are appointed as University personnel and are paid through the University under an agreement between the University and the Research Foundation. The Anna University Tiruchirappalli Research Foundation (AUTRF) does not own or operate research facilities but utilizes facilities provided by the University under provisions of the agreement. The facilities are open to researchers of all disciplines. Initially the major thrust areas of focus are
