As of February, IIM Trichy is still seeking quality faculty for its enormous requirement of staff of various depts like

7. Strategic Management.
IIM Trichy at present doesn't have a campus on its own.It will temporarily function within the campus of NIT Trichy campus until its permanent campus is ready.NIT-T will provide buildings for IIM-T's classes, hostel for students and faculty accommodations.
The permanent campus for the IIM Trichy will be on the 200 acres of land between The Bharathidasan University and Anna University of Technology on the Trichy-Pudukottai highway,17 km south-east of the city centre of Tiruchirapalli and 12 km from The Tiruchirapalli International Airport.

About 365 applications have been received by the IIM Management for 12 positions of full time faculty.Among the applicants were grads and pros from the US, UAE, France and Philippines.It has been that 60 students would be admitted in the beginning,the curriculum,schedules and the course content are being prepared and decisions on fee structure would be made public before April-May 2011.
Admission for IIM Trichy:
Admission purely depends on the CAT ( Common Admission test) which is conducted every year on the month of November...

Is CAT score is a must for PG Diplomas? I heard that only for MBA it is needed.

@Ramachandran CAT is for MBA only and only certain group of B-schools including the IIMs consider the CAT score...
